General Information

The Wyoming Secretary of State is the registrar of rules for state agencies as provided in W.S. 16-3-101 (Administrative Procedure Act). The rules and regulations contained in this site are electronic copies submitted by state agencies as duplicates of the certified copies filed within the Secretary of State's Office. For a per page fee, copies or certified copies of the original filed rules may be obtained by contacting this Office. Contact information may be obtained in the "Contact Us" section of this site.

Database Information

The public has direct access to the rules database, which provides the ability to search for current, emergency, superseded, and repealed rules as well as notices of intent. This database is updated on a daily basis.


Database tips:


  • To determine which agencies are in the process of promulgating rules, search for "Notice of Intent" within the Rules Database.
  • Proposed rules and regulations must be obtained by contacting the specific agency promulgating rules.
  • If the rules do not contain the information you are seeking, contact the agency in question.
