Which Registered Agent Form Should I Use?

There are two forms which may be used for changing your registered agent on your business entity:


Change by Entity:

  • This form should be used when the business entity is changing or appointing a new registered agent.

Change by Registered Agent:

  • This form is to be used when the current registered agent is updating information such as their address and/or name (from a nickname to a legal name; maiden name to married name; etc.)

About Our Office

We have a long history of serving the public. Beginning in April 1869 with the appointment of the first Secretary of the Territory of Wyoming, Edward M. Lee, by United States President Ulysses S. Grant, this office has always served the public from the State Capitol Building. However, following the completion of the Capitol Renovation Project in 2019, the Office is now located at Herschler Building East, Suites 100 and 101.
